Brenda and I built this work desk that replaced the dinette we removed. A lovely RVing couple came to get the dinette and are using it. We started with a sheet of 1 inch Kirei board (made from sustainable reclaimed sorghum straw and no formaldehyde) attached to FSC certified 1/2 inch plywood and cut it to size. It has a rounded corner and was sealed with a low VOC sealer. The edge is wrapped with aluminum face nosing and the legs are galvanized metal pipe. For extra support, we used an aluminum L bracket that screwed into the desk and the wall (from underneath). We love it!
