Tiny”ish” House Update: A little of this and a little of that
So it has officially been a year since we started the tiny”ish” house renovation. We took a 100 year old 500sf house and have been slowly transforming it into an 812sf open concept dream come true.
We are currently finishing up a bunch of small projects – interior trim, back deck rough framing, bathroom tile, reclaimed wood wall in the bathroom, putting up a few fixtures…
We wanted to show the progress so far, so here we go.
The electrical panel is in with mast and weathered connected – just waiting for city approval to remove temporary power pole.
Bathroom shower and floor tile has gone in. We have also taken some of the 100 year old redwood from the original house walls and cut it to size, sanded it down and applied a low VOC clear finish. The bathtub will sit in front of the wood wall.
A few exterior lights and RV plug are in.
Interior trim around windows and stairs is mostly complete.
The solar tube for the bathroom is installed. Below is a pic of it coming through the roof.
Overall pic from the loft bedroom. Scaffolding is up from the mudding and for the painters to use this weekend.
And last but not least is progress on the back deck.
